| See, You Can Make A Difference |
| Who says that political activism doesn't pay off? A few months back, this story was covered on one of the many left-wing sites I visit. Sadly, the national media didn't cover the story at all. Several of us wrote to organisations like the BBC demanding to know why they didn't cover the story. Many of us blogged about it and stated our disgust with the mainstream media. Anyway, the court case began on Monday and, thankfully, the media at least gave it some coverage (I did email the BBC last week to remind them of the court case). Which goes to show that bloggers and political activists can make a difference and can influence the mainstream media. |
